The Ending - Prince Malagant attacks Camelot
during the public treason trial of Lancelot and Guinevere.
Malagant orders King Arthur to surrender in front of his knights
and subjects or be killed. Arthur fakes conceding his
kingdom and instead orders everyone to fight Malagant's
men. Arthur is shot twice in the chest by crossbows.
Malagant's men start to burn Camelot, but the people revolt and
fight the invaders. Malagant and Lancelot face off against
one another with Malagant taking the advantage after Lancelot
tries to save a defenseless man. As Malagant goes for the
kill, Lancelot grabs Excalibur and fights back. Lancelot
kills Malagant. The mob kills Ralf. What's left of
Malagant's army retreats in defeat. Lancelot returns
Excalibur to a dying King Arthur, who forgives Guinevere and
Lancelot for their affair. King Arthur dies and is buried
at sea. Lancelot, as first knight, is assumed to be the
new king of Camelot with Guinevere as his bride.
